“In a Country Far, Far Away” Exhibition in the fairy tale and Legend museum in Bad Oeynhausen unites cultures!
The folklore reflects the history and soul of a culture. Art Catcher curator, Katja Rosenberg, wants to make the folklore of distant lands accessible through art with her exhibition "In a Country Far, Far Away". The exhibition tells of the sagas, myths and legends of many countries: from Sudan, Persia, Germany, Colombia, Venezuela, and many other countries. The pictures and sculptures will bring the ancient stories back to life. Each of the 80 participating artists from Bad Oeynhausen and London could choose their own story from past times, and represent it artistically within the context of a nation in crisis or conflict.
The resulting Exhibition and events Programme is a rich reflection of the souls and cultures of different nations!
